Multilingualism in the classroom – best practice

Multilingualism is the use of more than one language by an individual or group of speakers. For education, current research focuses on the benefits to learning outcomes if schools encourage multilingualism. This webinar considers what this looks like in practice in classrooms where there are multilingual learners and also the benefits and possible challenges to encouraging multilingualism. Presented by Karen Forbes (Associate Professor in Second Language Education, University of Cambridge) on 18/10/2023.

Deputy Head Academic, SLT/SMT, all teaching staff, classroom support staff.
